How to Remove EnjoyyCoupon Ads (Uninstall Guide)

Tell your friends:
EnjoyyCoupon is a potentially unwanted program that will display ads on your computer. Whether you've heard of 'Potentially Unwanted Programs' (PUPs) or not, chances are quite high that you may have been infected by one – or more - at some point. Not sure? If you've ever logged onto your computer only to find that you have a new search engine, browser, home page or tool bar then – congratulations – you've been PUP-ed! The EnjoyyCoupon PUP/adware goes one step further by modifying your web browser and adding additional menu items to contextual menu. Please use this guide to remove EnjoyyCoupon ads and any associated malware.

Ads by EnjoyyCoupon displayed on the top of organic Google search results.

But don't worry, it's happened to the best of us and you're certainly not alone in logging on only to end up completely bewildered as to why your search engine keeps directing you to random websites that you don't want to visit.

And no matter if you're talking about a tool bar, browser or home page, a Potentially Unwanted Program is exactly that: unwanted. So if you didn't download EnjoyyCoupon, it begs the question – who did and how did it get there – especially if you have anti-virus software running on your machine?

So my anti-virus let me down? Well actually, no. As much as it may look like your anti-virus has been slacking off, it's not actually to blame. Potentially Unwanted Programs like EnjoyyCoupon are devious little things. So take a moment and think back to the moment you noticed that new contextual menu or home page – and now ask yourself if you downloaded any software just before that.

So, this is generally how a PUP works. It's true that some Potentially Unwanted Programs are pop-up windows or adverts and will send you in the direction of the website they're advertising but the majority of them are usually hidden and bundled with other programs.

So now you're saying it's the software's fault? We get it; you know what you're downloading and you trust it! Well, sorry to break it to you but even some of the biggest guys in the software industry package PUPs with their programs. Take for example Skype or Adobe Reader; chances are if you're installing or upgrading one of these you might also be downloading a not particularly useful tool bar along with it.

So how do you check whether your download – reputable or otherwise – has been packaged with a little added extra: EnjoyyCoupon adware/PUP? Next time you download something and you're just about to blindly click all those 'OK' buttons so you can race to the end of the downloading process and get your software – stop for a moment. This is when you're likely to end up with a PUP on your PC. Most Potentially Unwanted Programs are given a nod to in the License Agreement and should have a check box alongside giving you the ability to opt out. However you do need to watch out as the wording may be ambiguous and opt-in boxes may have already been ticked. We told you PUPs were devious!

It's sneaky for sure, but to be fair to the developers we really should have 'read the small print'. So there you have it: if you have ever been infected by EnjoyyCoupon or an unwanted home page, search engine or tool bar then you're probably at fault and next time you might want to pay a little more attention to your License Agreements!

To remove this adware from your computer, please follow the steps in the removal guide below. If you have questions, please leave a comment down below. I will be more than happy to help you. Good luck and be safe online!
